Joanne Stalling
Joanne (Jo) Stalling brings over 35 years of industry experience and a deep understanding of financial services to her role as Financial Adviser Support at Coastal Advice Group’s Warners Bay office, servicing clients in the Lake Macquarie area. Having previously worked as a Financial Planner, Jo has firsthand experience navigating the complexities of the profession, giving her unique insights into the needs of both clients and advisers.
Jo has held various roles throughout her career, including Client Service Manager, National Sales Manager, and Paraplanner. Her extensive experience across all aspects of financial services allows her to provide exceptional support, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and advisers alike. Jo has achieved significant accomplishments throughout her professional journey, including building and managing strong customer service teams, contributing to major business improvement projects, and running her own successful business for 20 years while raising her family – a feat she considers one of her proudest professional achievements.
Jo’s ability to connect with clients, and in conjunction with the advisers she supports, craft tailored strategies, stems from her passion for helping people achieve their financial goals. She takes pride in creating solutions that bring clarity and confidence to clients, empowering them to live the lives they’ve always dreamed of. Her knowledge of the ins and outs of financial planning makes her an invaluable resource for the advisers she supports.
Outside of work, Jo enjoys swimming, cheering on the Giants in netball and the Boston Celtics in the NBA, and travelling. With a long list of destinations already explored (with Egypt as a top contender!), she looks forward to adding Antarctica to her adventures.
Jo has a strong passion for animal welfare and previously owned three rescue dogs, Zappa, Micky and Bella, who held a special place in her heart. While she currently doesn’t have any pets, she hopes to volunteer with a local animal rescue organisation in the future – though she admits she might end up adopting more pets than planned! Her commitment to animal welfare reflects her caring nature and dedication to making a positive impact, both professionally and personally. Jo has also volunteered as a netball coach for many years, coaching all age groups and ability levels including representative teams, but is currently having a year off.
Jo’s integrity, commitment to professionalism, and passion for continuous learning make her an integral part of the Coastal Advice Group team, ensuring clients and advisers receive the highest level of service and support.
