As a result, they can continue to provide vital support to their local communities.
Here are a few of the organisations and projects we’ve backed this year.
Hunter Melanoma Foundation
The Hunter Melanoma Foundation is on a mission to defeat melanoma through education and awareness about prevention and early detection.
Newcastle Bodyboarding Club
Newcastle Bodyboarding Club is a fun community-based organisation giving people the opportunity to come down and enjoy the ocean. They welcome everyone along – no matter what age or ability – and provide them with a fun, safe environment to learn about water safety and associated risks within the ocean, all whilst progressing their riding levels.
The smiles on the faces of the kids in the ‘Under 12 Parent-Assist Division’ are so infectious as having fun is what this club is all about!

Sleapy’s Foundation is a charity organisation tackling cancer & adversity.
Sleapy’s Foundation had its humble beginnings as a simple ‘footy day fundraiser’ beginning in 2010 called Sleapy’s Day”, giving COMPASSION, GENEROSITY AND HUMANITY back to the local community and to those in need.
Cancer Council
The Cancer Council NSW is Australia’s leading cancer charity, working across every area of every cancer. Through the Cancer Council, we connect with people who have been diagnosed with cancer. Our Pro Bono Program helps people affected by cancer access free general financial assistance, where they would be otherwise unable to do so due to cost, illness or other barriers.
Souths Junior Rugby League Football Club
South’s Juniors have over 200 registered boys and girls from Under6’s-16’s. Our club is all about fun, teamwork and mateship – playing the greatest game of all.
Terrigal United Football Club
Terrigal United Soccer Club (TUSC) has been an active member of the extended Terrigal Community for over 50 years beginning in 1966. As with any non-profit organisation, the club’s most valued commodity is that of its hard working volunteers and the many players who take the field each weekend to play on behalf of our magnificent club.

Camp Quality brings positivity, fun and laughter back into the lives of kids facing cancer. We are there for children and their families, from the heartbreaking news of a cancer diagnosis, through every step of the experience.
Got Your Back Sista
Got Your Back Sista is a registered charity dedicated to providing relief and support to women and children who have escaped the trauma of domestic violence.
Mark Hughes Foundation
The Mark Hughes Foundation raises much-needed funds for research, creates awareness and supports brain cancer patients and their families.
Minmi Wanderers Football Club
Minmi Football Club was established in a small Newcastle mining town in 1884. They currently play in the ZPL and community football leagues.
Avoca FC AA3 Women’s Team.
Avoca FC is an all-inclusive community-oriented club that welcomes players of all ages and all abilities.
By offering quality coaching and opportunities for development in a supportive club environment, they help players get the most out of their football experience.
NFPG 16ft Skiff in the 2023-24 16ft Skiff Australian Championships
16ft skiffs are one of the most popular boats sailed in Australia with fleets in NSW and Queensland. There are currently over 80 boats registered through 9 clubs and regattas regularly attract fleets of up to 45 boats.
